Typically, marine insurance is split between the vessels and the cargo. Insurance of the vessel is generally known as “Hulland Machinery” (H&M). A more restricted form of cover is “Third Party Liability Only” (TPL) or “Total Loss Only” (TLO).
Third Party Liability Only (TPL) cover is in the event you cause damage to a Third Party this does not offer you any protection for your own vessel.
Total Loss Only (TPO) covers the vessel in the event of total loss and does not offer any partial loss.
Historically Comprehensive Cover is the preferred insurance. For a quote please complete our marine quote form and we will be in contact http://www.swivel.org.uk/epic/index.php/commercial-insurance/
